Creating an brand with solid foundations
Yorkshire Construction Group was formed in 1986 and has grown to become a well-established, successful building and construction services company with a proven track record for delivering award winning projects for an international portfolio of developers, public sector clients and blue chip companies.
I worked with the group to implement a new brand identity.
Wanting to create a logo which represented the company and the work they create. I used the idea of ‘construction’ to form a logomark which has a strong and secure presence.
The logomark became part of an overall flexible graphic container system which shows a sense of scale and progression, much like the process of construction projects.
The logomark is also flexible in application and can be used as a framing device or graphic language.
